It seems that every small, private liberal arts college in the country is currently trying to set itself apart from the competition by touting its many majors, interdisciplinary experiences, and student-to-faculty ratio as reasons not to go to a larger state institution. Sure, most of these schools truly do provide a tight-knit student-faculty relationship, and many have so many majors that some of the areas of concentration graduate less than five students every year.
